The Leisure Games - Leavenworth Event Photographer

This was the first year for the Leisure Games in Leavenworth, WA.  This event was organized by Matt Bowen, and it gave our community an awesome opportunity to get together in a relaxed and fun atmosphere with no egos in play.  In a town where everyone is really good at something, it was cool to see everyone playing games that evened the playing field.  There were teams of four that competed in leisure games, such as Lawn Dart, Corn Hole, Lawn Bowling, Big Mountain Buck Hunter and more...  All games had to be played with drink in one hand and all tosses had to be underhand.  Don't get me wrong, everyone still got shredded the gnar but it was just in costume with drink in hand...

Icicle Brewery was one of the sponsors and they donated the profits from beer sales to the Ski Hill Memorial Project which is in memory of some good friends that we all lost over the past couple years.  Jim Jack, Chris Rudolph, Johnny Brenan and Danny Zimmerman you would have been so proud and we felt your presence!!!

The evening of dancing got started with Isaac Kaplan Wolner from Insight Sound System spinning some beats, and he kept the crowd entertained and having fun. There were also a couple incredible bands that played the event.  Hot Bodies In Motion was the opening band and they ripped it up.  Pickwick was up next and, simply put, they were awesome!!!

This was one of the best events in ALL of HISTORY!!!  Huge thanks to Matt Bowen, Pam and Oliver Brulotte and Icicle Brewery for everything you do!!!
