Birthday, Friends, and a special moment for my Hailey Bear

Heidi and I were recently able to spent a couples days with some of our best friends in the world.  It just so happened that it was my 38th birthday as well.  It was so great to spend time with friends that we don't get to see enough, and to see how their beautiful children have grown since our last visit together.

This was also very special for me because we were returning to the cabin in Skykomish, WA, where my good friend, Jacob, allowed Hailey and I to live for a couple years before we moved to Leavenworth, WA.  Heidi and I brought our dogs Kalea and Kota to share and enjoy how special Jacob's Foss River Cabin really is, and they had a blast.  The last morning, Heidi and I took a couple minutes to remember my Hailey Bear.  We spread some of her ashes along the bank and into the river.  She loved it there and will love being there forever!!!

It was an awesome birthday and a very special time with friends!!!
